Who are we?

The engineering office IMM Maidl & Maidl is a medium-sized engineering office with its head office in Bochum, a branch office in Munich and teams at other locations throughout Germany such as Berlin, Leipzig, Munich and Erfurt. We stand for expertise in tunnel construction, civil engineering, geotechnics, underground engineering and mining and our 25 employees are active both nationally and internationally as planners, experts, inspectors, construction supervisors and project managers. We have been supporting our clients, which include public and private clients, for more than 40 years, from preliminary investigation and planning through to tendering, awarding and testing as well as construction.

Planning and implementation of challenging and interesting tunnel construction projects at national and international level


Segment calculation for shield tunnelling


Examination of statics, plans, expert opinions, etc.


You support the client in an advisory capacity



Drafting and preparing statements, expert opinions, technical presentations, etc.


Creation of concepts for construction supervision and subsequent active construction site support


Writing publications about project experiences




If you...

      • a degree from a university or university of applied sciences (Dipl.-Ing., TH/TU/FH, M.Sc.), specializing in civil engineering, structural engineering, tunnel construction, geotechnics or
      • have a comparable degree, professional experience in the planning and project management of tunnel structures, in structural engineering or special civil engineering (would be desirable, but is not a requirement!),
      • have a sound knowledge of MS Office,
      •  has an independent and goal-oriented way of working,
      • take teamwork for granted,
      • improvise and respond to changes,
      • has knowledge of foreign languages (English),
      • and of course enjoy your daily work,
