Status of compatibility
We are guided by Section 12a BGG and the requirements of BITV 2.0. Partly barrier-free.

✅ Measures already implemented

• Semantic HTML tags like

• Responsive design: The site adapts to different screens in a mobile-friendly way.

• Clear font sizes: enable better readability.

🚧 Barriers that still exist

1. Incomplete legacy texts
   Some images lack complete or meaningful descriptions ("alternative texts").

2. PDF documents
   If available, they are not always barrier-free due to text levels, structures or tags.

3. Keyboard accessibility
   Drop-down menus and sliders do not always respond reliably to keyboard input (e.g. tab navigation, enter/space control).

4. Contrast ratios
   The contrast ratio may not be sufficient for individual text and background combinations (e.g. gray text on a light background).

5. ARIA attributes & focus indicators
   Some interactive elements lack ARIA attributes or visible focus markers when navigating with the keyboard.

🎯 Improvement measures in progress

• Completion and improvement of missing old texts.

• Checking and adapting all PDF files for accessibility (structure, tags, text accessibility).

• Optimization of keyboard control for menu, slider, contact forms.

• Revision of the contrast ratios in critical areas.

• Addition of ARIA roles and labels, as well as clear focus indicators for interactive elements.

This declaration was on July 11, 2025 and is based on an internal self-assessment. Future revisions are carried out automatically every 12 months at the latest or when relevant changes are made to the website.
